National report details how Dayton cut overdose deaths in half – Dayton Daily News

Dayton and Montgomery County cut overdose deaths in half last year, and those efforts to combat the opioid epidemic are now detailed in a national comprehensive report.

The report from the left-leaning Center for American Progress, titled “A Community of Recovery: Dayton, Ohio’s Compassionate, Collective Approach to the Opioid Crisis,” is intended to be used by other communities facing a similar crisis.
