In Dayton, we saw dozens of family members, advocates, people in recovery, and others affected by the crisis share their stories at a local public library. Dayton is often referred to as the “overdose capital” of the United States, and residents are ready for change. While there have been recent city-county emergency responses like a newly formed Community Overdose Action Team, attendees also discussed individual ways they could take action.
