Same day I plan to visit the Mahoning Valley to scope out a media-sponsored community drive to stop the heroin crisis, the president arrives at Youngstown for a campaign rally, so I’ll also stop in to see what’s happening at the Covelli convention center, too.
For the heroin crisis, data suggests I should examine these places:
Warren neighborhood south of Harding High School; community of Struthers, a steel community known for its great history in high school sports, and south Youngstown along Route 7 south of Cardinal Mooney High School.
Interesting that one of the worst areas in Cincinnati also is near a prominent high school. What are the reasons for that? It’s not the students dying of heroin.
